Typically 3–24 hours. Models with drying and grinding functions complete faster (around 3–6 hours). Microbial decomposition models take about 24 hours after the microbes become active.

Mix with potting soil (no more than 20%) or dilute and use as liquid fertilizer. Unprocessed residues need further composting.
